EDNA Myanmar in cooperation with Moving Forward Together and Ms. Paola Wentzler is excited to announce the launch of the “Investing in Youth Led Enterprise and Professional Development Program 2019”. This program will accept 30 aspiring social entrepreneurs from Ayeyawaddy, Yangon and Dryzone regions to establish their own enterprises. Furthermore, the program will train these aspiring entrepreneurs to become mentors and change agents as they launch their social businesses.
Upon successful screening, 30 participants will receive a scholarship for a two month training program in Yangon. This program includes the problem based entrepreneurial education (delivered by the EDNA Myanmar team) and the professional development courses (delivered by Ms. Paola Wentzler and Daw Kyi Kyi Nyein). On completion of this training, they will continue to be mentored for six months to setup their own enterprises. The mentors will help facilitate the launch of the participants’ start ups and closely monitor their performance. Five cash prize awards will be awarded to the top performing start ups for reinvestment.
